On March 26, 2013 I went to the South San Francisco clinic
for an hour, from 3:00pm to 4:00pm. My mentor gave an appointment to 20 of her
patients for the same day. We were all in a meeting room to show them how to
use the new Blood Glucose Monitoring System. We first helped them to program the
machine with the right time, day, year, and language. After we were done we
showed them how to use it. At the beginning I was shy, I would turn red but throughout
the hour I wasn’t as shy as the beginning. All the patients were nice and were
calm to learn how to use the machine. This helped me to have the patience to
help older people and to show them how to use it.
Total Hours: 13
