Hours Done: 3
On February 26, 2013 I went to the South San
Francisco Clinic to do my hours. I did two hours. When I got there I read five
to six books to, two little kids. After that my mentor told me to put the kids’
books in the shelves. They have a lot of books and every time a little kid goes
to the doctor they get a free book. My mentor and I were also talking about
college and careers. She was giving me advice. I appreciate her giving me
advice because I don’t have people to talk about college with. I asked her several
questions and she responded correctly and answered my question. She also
explained the difference between a registered nurse and a medical assistance.
On February 28, 2013 I went to do another hour. I finished fixing all the
books. This was my second time going and I felt a little bit more confident and
comfortable around the nurses.
