Blog Reflection

To complete all aspects of the Capstone project I had to use critical thinking, collaboration, creativity and communication. The ones that I used the most was communication and collaboration because I had to work with patients and show them how to use the diabetic machine and answer their questions and for that I had to communicate with them and have good manners and also have patience. I also had to share rooms with other people that worked there.
The Capstone experience helped me a lot in a personal issue have. I’m really shy and this helped me to not be as shy as I was in the beginning. I also learned that there are people that need help and we should help them. For us to be able to help them we have to be involved in he community and that’s why we sold volunteer in different places so we could help our community improve in positive ways and help the people in need.  And to make our community a save place to live in.
Some challenges I encountered were that I am really shy and I would turn really red, I don’t like doing things by myself. Shyness could be a bad thing in several ways because it won’t let you do things that may help you to progress in life. But I knew that I couldn’t be shy or else it was going to be harder for me. Every time I would be shy I would tell myself not to be shy and do it. This project helped me to open up and not be shy.
